ON A BEAUTIFUL, WISCONSIN SUMMER DAY, Dale Anderson Masonry representatives cruelly fed only a small fraction of this pizza-starved town, in what should have been an otherwise happy event. Pleas of "Can I have some?" and audibly growling stomachs are now indelibly etched in this reporter's mind.
This was completely the guys' idea, and we really had fun. Allenton (our company home) and lots of small Wisconsin communities have annual picnics, complete with parades. Who woulda thunk they'd build a little masonry pizza oven, stick it on a flatbed, fire it up, and actually feed parade-goers?
Somehow I have the feeling this may have spawned an annual tradition... ~ by Karl Zarling

In an ongoing effort to promote and maintain safety on job sites, Dale Anderson Masonry employees recently completed training at their Allenton facility (see pics below).
On March 15th, 2011, this mandatory skills enhancement workshop was conducted in the proper use of forklift and basket essentials, scaffolding, and fall protection. Owner Dale Anderson remarked, "We've got a great crew, and it's important that we keep ourselves and each other safe on the job. We can all use a little refresher once in a while." Employees each received certificates of completion.
DAM also conducted their annual equipment check and inventory - a thorough inspection of power and hand tools for signs of wear, cord fraying, and general fatigue.
Greetings all. This comes from Karl Zarling, spokesman and techie geek for my very good friends at Dale Anderson Masonry. So here it is...the first blog post on their new site. I'm proud to be involved with DAM and know firsthand the fantastic work they've done over the years. Feel free to reach out to me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org, and thanks for stopping by!
